2024 Cross Country Post Season Registration

Valley United Striders Cross Country Information

This year we will be attending the USATF National Jr. Olympics in Shelbyville Indiana Dec 14, 2024

Teams will be assigned according to rankings of our meets after October 19, 2024.

There will be 2 qualifying races to make it to the national race.

All athletes will need to get a USATF membership card on Nov.1st, 2024 . If you have a card already please RENEW your existing card DO NOT get a new number. If you are currently unattached or registered on another team please contact USATF now to attach to our team Valley United #33-015

Here are important details of the next few weeks.

October 26, 2024 @ 8:30 am – Mandatory Practice @ West Creek Park – Santa Clarita

November 10, 2024 @ 7:30 am – Mandatory – USATF Association Meet – Mt SAC

November 17, 2024  @ 7:30 am – Mandatory – USATF Regional meet – Santa Clarita Central Park. CA.

December 7, 2024 @ 8:30 am  – Team Practice & Brunch – West Creek Park in Valencia

December 12-14, 2024 – Mandatory – USATF National Championship Meet – Shelbyville Indiana

Please be sure to join the Valley United team, If you are unsure what team you will be on (not solid in the A team) please check with your coach after October 20.

Choose C-Team if you have not qualified for an A or B Team.

Choose B-Team – if you have qualified for the B team and plan on competing in Santa Clarita Central Park – Santa Clarita CA.  November 17, 2024. 

Choose A-Team if your athlete has qualified for the A-Team and is planning on going to Shelbyville, Indiana. (Note – In order to be on the A-Team, the athlete must commit to compete at all qualifying meets and Shelbyville, Indiana, otherwise the athlete will be placed on the B-Team), however if the B-Team is advanced to the National event there may be additional fees to be added for the national event.

USATF Registration

Athletes competing in the USATF will have to purchase membership in the USATF Please make sure you attach your athlete to Valley United Striders USATF team Number is 33-015. You must upload a birth certificate or pass port to be verified at the National office. There is an upload button on the last page after you pay. the fee is $30.00 for membership.
